Who we are
Steiner Websites is the trading name of Nicholas Anthony Steiner, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic, IČO 22602801, Chudenická 1059/30, 102 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic. Contact: nicksteinersales@gmail.com. We are the controller of the personal data described here, except where section 3 says we act for you.
1. If we emailed you
If we emailed you about our web, app and IT services, we hold your name (if published), your work email address, your company name and the public web page where we found that address. We do not buy lists and we do not hold sensitive data.
We use this to offer our services to businesses whose work they relate to. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in business-to-business outreach (GDPR and UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), balanced against yours: we email business addresses only, about your work only, at low volume, and stop the moment you ask.
If you reply "stop", we delete your details and keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so we never email you again. Otherwise your details are deleted 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
2. If you are a client
We hold your name, business name, email, phone number, billing address, tax ID if you give one, your payment history, and everything you send us through the welcome form (services, prices, photos, opening hours, booking rules). Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
We use this to build and run your app and to bill you (performance of our contract, Article 6(1)(b)) and to keep the accounting records the law requires (Article 6(1)(c)). We keep it while you are a client, then keep invoices and payment records for as long as Czech tax and accounting law requires (up to 10 years) and delete the rest within 12 months.
3. Your customers' data inside your app
For bookings made in your app, you are the controller and we are your processor. We store your customers' names, contact details and bookings only to run your app, only on your instructions, and delete them when you ask or when the service ends.
4. If you visit our website
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
5. Who processes data for us
Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and databases), Zoho (email), Bouncer (email address verification) and Google (email and internal alerts). Some of them are in the United States; those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and you can object to our outreach at any time by replying "stop" or emailing nicksteinersales@gmail.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the Czech Republic the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz), in the UK the ICO, or the authority where you live.
